DIRECTOR - Balveen Ajimal
Balveen has over 10 years' experience in private and public M&A working as a senior UK-qualified corporate lawyer in London, Paris and Hong Kong.
In Europe, Balveen worked on some of the highest profile M&A deals in the London market and advised a range of international companies on restructures and joint ventures.
In Hong Kong, she advised on a range of both India and China-related transactions including IPOs, capital raisings, and complex cross-border M&A.
When in private practice she worked exclusively with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, widely regarded as one of the leading corporate law firms in the world. She then moved to senior legal roles at financial institutions and funds where she advised on a range of pan-Asia investment projects.
Balveen has also worked with King & Wood Mallesons, Australia's largest law firm, implementing their training and integration projects for their Asian offices.
She has a particular interest in the charitable and non-for-profit sector and has been involved in setting up functionality and improving the delivery and governance for foundations and enterprises in this area.
Balveen is a graduate of the University of Oxford.
She speaks fluent Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
